My 14 year old son & I will be traveling down there for a long weekend of diving. Will be diving one day @ Ginnie Springs, but not sure about the other day. Wondering which would be better for us....Devil's Den or Blue Grotto??

My choice would be Devil's Den - more to see in my opinion.

yep, and less expensive too.

Devils Den has the catfish and see the fosils on the walls, try to get to the springs early for the best vis,
Blue grotto has the depth but you need to be over head or cave cert or with inst to hit bottom,
You will enjoy DD!

You could do both, they're not far from each other. I've done Devil's Den only myself, but found it very interesting. The tunnel and stair entrance into the open roofed cavern is worth a visit alone.

DD is cheaper!!! I about crapped my wet suit when the guy said $31.

Don't forget to have your picture taken with the devil.

i went to BG and no one told us about being overhead or cave cert. or about being with an intructor ...and me and my buddy went to the bottom well 98 feet just a few shy of the bottom....didn't want to silt it up..
yeah i was expensive though but i liked the depth...
id like try DD next but i still want to go back to BG
