Well, as it stands I wont be making my way out there, and that's not my issue. my issue is that this is not looking good, and i hope for the best. please prepare and lets pray it misses, and dies down...
 
As it looks now, the northern yucatan area has a good chance of being hit by a category 4 or even 5 hurricane.

Latest computer models start spinning out at 11:30pm est, the first model runs to use data from the airborne recon today. There are worries it will be forther north because of a weakness over texas cause by erin.

At least none of the models show a direct hit on us anymore! I hope this doesn't change :) I know, I'm being optimistic :D

The nhc's latest model shows it right on top of you at 2 AM Tuesday.

Its projected track is eerily similar to those of both Gilbert and Emily.

I've been checking the updates on the same site. If you look at the satellite images and use the animate function, it looks like it is already swinging north to and will catch the western edge of Cuba. It's still a huge storm though and things are still likely to change, but it looks better!! :)
