Hi All, I've been searching to buy a used reg setup.
I've seen many Dacor 1st stage and 2nd stage regs in ebay.
Many many threads here say that Dacor spare parts are hard to find as they are out of business since many years.
However, Dacor, with the same logo as in those old regs seems to be still working.
This site shows them : Dacor - Home Page
The on-line catalog is dated 2006.
So, are they still with us ?

Dacor still exists, its just a subsidary of HTM Sport (Mares) - the issue is really only to do with the older generation products, especially regulators (which require constant spares) where "HTM Sport" has discontinued spares to these regs.

If you stick with current Dacor models (after the HTM take over), you should have no problems, its the "Pre HTM take over" models where the spares issue crops up.

Here, (I cant comment about other countries) Dacor ran a sort of "Trade up" offer when Mares took over and spares to the old model Dacors became an issue, whereby you could hand in your old Dacor, pay a nominal "upgrade fee" and get a new current model Dacor reg - but unfortunately, it was poorly advertised and many folk didnt even know about it, sadly they are now stuck with these, largely "unservicable" regs.
