What body size does a size 8 fit? I can't find anything useful with my limited time to google here at work.

Yep it seems that Mares got rid of or really hid their size chart. zimpod does this suit have a dry zipper?
 
It is possible to "finish" off the edges, but probably unnecessary. I've trimmed a few for a variety of reasons and never touched up the cuts. It just was not necessary. They did not run or fray. It will look cut, but that falls under the fashion statement area and thats between the two of you.
 
Cut the sleeves off, don't seal the edges, sell it to a punk-rock diver. Helps if you paint a skull on the back.
