It’s not. At least where I've been. (Or maybe that's after I've been?);)

Three Tree Point Yesterday- less than 10ft.

cove three, saturday night-

5-10 feet of vis, but it wasent bad. A seal played with us for forty minuets. It was amazing watching a huge seal chase down little perch, I dont know if there is any validity to it but it seemed that the seal was using our lights to locate its prey.

Went snorkleling last weekend at Steilacoom beach alot of classes being taught on Sat. I think we had better vis next to shore then out a ways as it was reported to that they had 5 to 7 ft while closer to shore and away from all the activty we had maybe 15 or just a little better. Saw one Hermitt crab dragging another about 20 ft. Felt sorry for the one being dragged but so can life be so I left them alone.

Went up to Nanaimo, this last weekend for three days of wreck and wall diving. I had forgotten what good visibility was like. Although the horizontal vis. was probably only a mere 50-60 feet at depth, you could look up from 100 feet and see the surface waves with the sun shimmering on them.

Very cold out (ice on surface of water at marina) but the vis. (and the dives) were incredible.

Anyone dive EUP this weekend? How was the viz? Did you dive a slack? I was there Saturday but couldn't dive, (sinusitis).

Sea ya! (Unless the visibility just sucks)

Went to Redondo today.
Vis wasn't bad, but wasn't good. Didn't see too much.
A small red octo that Jim found in a pipe...
Hope this breaks soon.

Vis in the San Juan Islands today ...

Cone Island ... 8-10 feet
Strawberry Island ... 12-15 feet

Not great vis, but exceptional dives ... :D

We were there Saturday too (me and Cheng and TSandM and Peter Guy and Georgina and Greg) ... vis wasn't any great shakes (12-15 feet, perhaps). The hooded nudis have dwindled down from thousands to dozens ... but they're still pretty to look at ...
