Dove Edmonds just before the storm hit today. Viz was maybe 15' but there was a lot of light on the bottom. Saw some big cabezons and one ling on a huge mass of eggs, as well as various nudibranchs and other small creatures. Nice dive.

At least you got to dive, Lynne.

Cory and I showed up at Redondo, took one look at the waves crashing into the pilings, and decided tonight wasn't a good night to dive.

The wind was blowing so hard on the way down there I saw a bird fly past my windshield at about half the speed of sound ... :11:

So it's only 1399 tomorrow? Shoot, I'll need to change the cake.

Yep ... sorry ... I tried. Mother Nature had other ideas ...

So on Saturday I'll do dive #1,400 as part of an annual critter collecting event for the SPU aquarium on Whidbey Island. Coincidentally, it will also be the 5th anniversary of the date I completed my OW certification ...

Wow! [Insert low whistle here.] 1400 dives in 5 years. That's, uh, .77 dives per day. Impressive.

Nice dive today at Edmonds. Covered lots of territory and saw some features i hadn't yet seen.

Viz was still pretty poor but I've seen worse. 20' was about it.

Sea ya!

Vis yesterday at the beach off of Camp Casey ... 20-25 feet
... yesterday at Keystone Jetty ... 15-18 feet
... today at Keystone Jetty ... 20-25 feet
... today at Langley Tire Reef ... 5 - 8 feet ... :11:

Downtown pub crawl on Friday night. Had to call the "dive" because of zero visibility about midnight. I believe it was Guinness induced blindness but I never got a straight answer from DAN. Those guys really are there 24 hours!

Sund Rock on Saturday PM, saw viz at nearly 30' for most of the dive. Nice.

This morning at EUP about 25' north of the jetty. Mukilteo was really nice at 30'+ this afternoon.
