FWIW, when I drove down to Monterey this morning the water was a very nice shade of deep blue. More than that, the smoke plume from the sand factory was headed swiftly down to the south. Checking the Monterey buoy report, I see winds have been >13kts NNW since yesterday afternoon. YES!!! Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday all look good on the swell model.
 
We dove BW on Wed. The vis was pretty poor & green but the swell was down.

Today the water looks clearer from the wall with reports of 15-20ft vis.
