Thanks for sharing your experiences. I will be at El Galleon mid-March. What website link did you use to fill out the visa, custom and health forms?

If you're so inclined, you could post this trip report on undercurrent.org. It's a very helpful newsletter for divers and there's regional forms for trip reports.

Great photos! Black and white nudibranch with yellow bumps is likely Phyllidia (maybe Phyllidia varicosa).

Disclousre: I used Google's search-by-image engine.

The last photo in your report (so far, DSC03931) is a frogfish. What kind of frogfish? Who knows... ;-)

Again, thanks for the report!

I believe this has to be done within 24 hours of arrival. I was confused on declarations and declared both my scuba and camera equipment - I think it has a ridiculous minimum like you have to declare anything worth more than 1000php or so. I was worried this was going to cause me problems, but also worried I could have gear confiscated if I didn't declare it. Everyone just waived me through, so I am not sure if they even looked at this.

Great trip report and excellent shots , thank you. Am contemplating doing the same combination at some point, so it’s really helpful. Do you remember what the water temperatures and visability were like ? Was there any further rain in either location?
I was there at the same time, Jan 21- Feb 21. Water temp ranged from 24-27C and usually vis was 10-15m.. Sometimes worse when the rain and currents came in or if you're at Kilima, other times we got up to 25m vis. Mind you this was at the tail end of the rainy season, water temps will go up to 32C and be dry as you get into April and May so they say.
