Cenotes are uneffected by weather. If the ferry is running, head to Playa del Carmen, dive some cenotes, and then enjoy a great evening in PdC. Most of the good Cenotes are further south, so you could check out Tulum, too. The best time to go is around 2:00 in the afternoon, and stay until the park closes at 6:00. The tourists all leave, and it becomes magical as the setting sun creates shadows on the ruins. It can be a zoo earlier in the day. Bring some food and water, because it will not be available later in the day. I think that the last ferry from PdC to Coz is around midnight.ae3753:Ugh! We'll be there from 3/31 to 4/9. The forecast has it arriving Friday / Saturday. I guess that's a couple days of no diving . . . any recommendations?
