Loosened the pocket support bungees when donning my suit yesterday. It worked to reduce the tightness in the thigh area of the suit....I did not feel like it had as much of that "wrapped" sensation.

Thanks for the tip.

Great! And now you know how to snug up the thighs if you ever need to.
That hint was due to a little "been there, done that" I stumbled into with my own suit. At first I thought it was a suit adjustment, not a pocket adjustment.

Regarding that restriction in the upper thigh: current Bullet has a slide lock bungee inside the pockets as the pocket support system. If that is snugged up, you will restrict the fit on the thighs. So it doubles as a thigh adjustment! Loosen that up and I bet your problem is solved.

Other random notes:
I really wish my L/XL was 2 inches longer. Neck ring really scrapes my head getting out, but next size up too baggy for my frame. It has been suggested that I try an L/XL skin over a 2x/3x core. Haven’t done that yet, but it makes sense.
I also am annoyed by the Bullet ability to hold water. Might want to try a Sport with tech shorts. The Sport is more durable than you think - I was told that when Whites introduced the Fusion they produced a run of extra Sport skins expecting people to wear them out, and it didn’t happen.
Best way to take the suit off - have buddy grab the heel and pull out.
I have been wearing sock liners plus 3mm neoprene socks, and rarely feel a chill in my feet.
I step on the toe of one foot with the heel of the other foot and pull my foot out of the suit. Works well by myself.

Question about p-valves for other Fusion owners. I have a Halcyon p-valve (unused) that I’ve been planning on moving from my previous USIA suit to my new Fusion. I know the valve is installed under the skin (doesn’t go through the skin). The Halcyon outer portion seems pretty high profile to me, but I have no experience with other p-valves. Are there lower profiles valves out there I should consider? And, no, I won’t be doing it myself. That’s what the shop is for!

All the ones I have seen have been installed through the core and then when you put it on you pull the skin up where it sits as it should, then just put a hole about the size of a quarter through the skin and then pull the skin over the valve. I have over a 100 dives on mine and the skin is no worse for wear.

In both pictures you will see the valve sticks out of both the Bullet skin and the Sport skin.

Today was my last Lake Michigan charter of the season. Air temps were probably around 50F. Water temp 50F. No thermocline at all. Surface water temp showed 57F on computer.

I have a Thermal Fusion arriving tomorrow, bought from a fellow SB member. Wish I had it today. I have the MK2 I was wearing over wicking base layer. MK2 simply isn’t warm enough. Didn’t do the second dive I was chilly enough on SI.

Got my Thermal Fusion yesterday. Nice and warm. I’ll test it out Saturday when we do a cleanup dive at the Hammond, IN marina where the one dive boat is docked.

I got the AL Fusion Plus baselayer to go under. Thicker than my REI merino wool which is pretty thin. Fits much better, too. Price is reasonable at only $45 each for top/bottom.

I’ll be doing some deep dives with a couple of experienced friends at a regional quarry in about a month. Deep side is always cold. The Thermal Fusion will really get a workout then.

I believe that picture was taken the day we went out and caught the Rotarian and that torpedo bomber wasnt it?

Nope, this was taken 9/29. I had friends in from out of state I was diving with. Rotarian and the Mac.

Ah. For some reason I thought that was from the day I met you on the DA charter.

Spent more than an hour in 52F water today. I was nice and warm with the Thermal Fusion. Had to add 4 lbs. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't get down at first, until I remembered the new undies! Dive buddy grabbed a 4lb weight from the dock and stuffed it in one of my waist pockets.

Found a skateboard at the bottom in the marina!
