Computer glitch or airport problem

I'm late to the party but I see flights every day from OKC to CZM from Aug 27-Sept 1 on Matrix. None on the 26th. I don't understand the problem. Maybe it was an info glitch?

He didn't say he was looking for non-stop flights, but then I don't think those ever exist for this route.

Orbitz is showing a choice of American or Delta on August 27.

Unless you are particularly vulnerable to seasickness I wouldn't worry too much about the ferry ride during the summer months.

Catalina generally requires a ferry ride, too - unless you do a day boat from the mainland, or a puddle jumper flight to the mountain top.

AA will go into the low / hurricane season schedule and drop DFW to CZM on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting August 18 thru September 30. On Thursday October 1 it appears that they go back to a full schedule. This could be a good thing as normally the full schedule is not restored until mid November, perhaps the 'yield managment folks' project an increased travel demand a month early this coming season.

American is showing a flight leaving OKC at 8am on Thursday, August 27, with a DFW connection to CZM arriving 2:49pm.

I stand corrected, it looks like they only dropped Tuesday's, which is my travel back day. A couple weeks back I did the bag drag on a late flight into Cancun and with the new ferry schedule of earlier in the AM and Later in the PM it makes the drag a lot less stressful trip.

I got aug 28-sept 13 for $480 on American at the start of july. It is now $640. The number of flights go way down in summer months I am already keeping my eye on January flights. If I see it anywhere around $500 I jump on it.

It sucks how we have to pay so much when we are so close, while so many much further pay so much less.

It looks like $514 RT is available, altho the airline may change its schedule if you buy now. Usually I find my best fares one to two month before travel dates, but we like to plan earlier don't we. Cancun is much cheaper, and schedule changes aren't as bad generally I don't think - but you have to cross the channel with a norte risk. Well, you have norte risks to diving too.
