Brian Gilpin once bubbled...
I'm glad I made it to Casino last weekend! Conditions were great. Thanks for the help Dr B. No doubt I will be back as soon as possible. Hope it clears up tomorrow for you.
Brian

No Kidding, Brian! After the great conditions we had last weekend, it's amazing how much they can change in just a week's time. Maybe you were our good luck charm?
At any rate, it was nice meeting you on the stairs last weekend. Hopefully you'll charm the waters again the next time you come down, and I'll be able to spend more time diving with the Scubaboarder's than I was able to last weekend.

mofosaurus- I don't schedule dives during real Santa Anas. Yes, they can kick up the waves her at the Park and it is dangerous for my video camera (which is my primary consideration). However mild Santa Anas, those that don't actually reach out to the island, can create very nice conditions for diving.

Last weekend's event was wind-whipped and died down as soon as the winds did. I'm amazed it did the damage that it did at the Park, but I think it was because the one buoy chain had been broken for several weeks.

Conditions were pretty good Sunday. I can't dive most of this week because I have to complete my papers for the conference.

Dr. Bill
