Being a Cape Cod diver, this excites me. There has been a lack of charters here. One of the dive shops bought a boat this winter!!! They just posted the schedule, and prices on their website today. Ceck it out at www.capedivelocker.com

Keep in mind that I am in no way associated with the shop at all, other than it being one of the 2 shops I frequent. I am hoping the chartes do well so that I can take advantage of them myself for years to come.

Mike from the Dive Locker is going to be at Sea Rovers, with info about his charters for the season. We will probaly book a few with him to add to the usual North Shore stuff we run.

I'm there.

FWIW - This past Saturday, I just happen to have been introduced to, and "hung out" with one of the Captains and the Dive Master that will be running the new boat. I can say, without qualifications, that they are some of, if not the most experienced divers that have ever explored the wrecks along the waters of Cape Cod. They took Gary Gentile to all the wrecks that he profiled along the south shore of the Cape in his Massachusetts South book. And, they are a fun and enjoyable group of people, as well as being highly qualified! Stop by their booth at Rovers and check'em out.

I also have no financial interest of any kind in their endeavor . . . just want to see good people succeed, and I am sure they will.

Just checked out their schedule. Looks great. Charters are pricey, however. $90-110.

I'm psyched that there is going to be more accessible diving on the Cape, but does anyone have an update about Gloucester for the coming season???

Thanks,
Matt

What kind of update? CAD and the Gauntlet are already in the water. Jim and Pat are back in Boston Harbor as of April 7th. Fran's announcing his schedule this weekend at Sea Rovers.

Sorry, I meant for shore diving--I wasn't clear on the town of Gloucester's new policies and the issues with the lobster boats.
