Gotcha. Hadn't heard anything about that in awhile either. As far as I have heard, the harbormaster in Gloucester has no interest in putting any such "laws" into effect. Diving there now and certainly haven't had any trouble.

Rainer:
Just checked out their schedule. Looks great. Charters are pricey, however. $90-110.

when you are the only boat in town...

Any way, If there is a dive people from this board are going on, let me know, and I'll sigh up. I'd love to meet more of you in person.

If anyone has seen the boat or met Mike in person will know the quality of the charter you will pay for. He stops at nothing to put together first rate charters and trips. And as far as the sites, I'm sure you will diving some of the "secret" wrecks that we have been diving off chatham for years...but maybe not!

I get giddy every time I drive by the shop and see the boat outside.

Hey, I'll drop 90 to 110 bucks on a charter anyday if it takes me to wrecks fewer people visit. What's a c-note between friends, anyhow? Aren't we all getting tax refunds pretty soon? What about the rich great-uncle leaving you his vast fortune? Seriously, seems to me like it'll be worth it...new boat, seldomn(sp?) seen wrecks! If it isn't, don't tip and don't go again.

For my $$$$, I think I'll give it a go. Keep me mind if anyone decides to book something.

I was OW certified with Mike of Cape Dive Locker. I happened to be the only person that signed up for the class that month. Instead of cancelling the class he gave me what ammounted to a private course. Great dive shop. I wish him great success with the dive boat. I've seen the boat at the LDS. Looks good.

Anyone want to go on the May 5 (Sat) Port Hunter dive?
Paul

Finally some access to Cape Cod area wrecks, there are some great choices. I will definatley get on the boat this year.

I'll have to check my calendar, but quite possibly. Unless that's the weekend I'm in Montreal for a bachelor party, in which case the only wreck I'll be seeing is my friend Pete. :D
