I am a diving instructor who moved down to Florida 4 years ago. Just hated those northern winters. I was relaxing today when I heard that two seasoned divers who were around 75 years old were vacationing in the Caribbean and tried to rent gear to dive. They were told be numerous dive shops that they were too old and shops would not rent to them. Is this a common occurrence? I never heard of that before but I worked in a dive shop so I never had to rent equipment.

Personally haven't seen it before. But this thread has some discussions about it
