I think Deb and Yarik are on track here... not that all situations are the same. I try to never be rude or give divers a bad name... I just think sometimes its a little misleading.. The smoker thing Yarik said is a great example. Not that were better than anyone by any means because we are active divers. But I guess you gotta ask yourself what makes you more a diver than them? and whats constitutes as being an active diver? Walter and KBeck brought some interesting views as well. I agree with the complement part and I love to share my experiences with people who call themselves divers. even If they haven't dove it 20+ years.. I think no less of someone just becaus of their dive status.. ok.... now I've added 2 more cents...lol...:D
