Looked into it, 5 integral parts NLA, one being the actual case. Scrap that short lived idea.

Why can’t a single hose regulator have the exhaust T replaced with the exhaust half of a double hose regulator with the opening secured to behind the head?

Short answer is that effectively puts the exhaust too far from the diaphragm and causes free flow. It has been tried.

Respectfully,

James
Yep, what you create is actually something used in industry - an air lift pump. The rise and expansion will create a lift/vacuum in the case, pulling the diaphragm in and triggering free-flow condition. Need to get the exhaust out of the case without inducing that condition.

An example is in fact the "new" double hose. As improvements have been made to upgrade parts and also design improvements, the venturi improvements have led to needing a deflector to direct the flow into the mouthpiece as the straight path through without one would rush to the exhaust, bypassing the divers mouth.

Big brain.

Testing the C370 with MK17 tomorrow ,…. Will give you a review 👍
Breath easy and yes the T is small, that causes the bubbles to be in your face when suspended in the water column not moving . Other than that I like it but will keep my S620Ti as my day to day unit
