Good choice. Enjoy ! The MK11 EVO/C370 is a great setup

You did good too on regulator and bc.
Thanks.... actually put it on hold today... just the air2 or octo part... bcd and regs still 100%
Keep going back and forth air2 vs octo..... I'm broken making decisions some times... dive shop super supportive, told me no rush, and let them know.. regs still on order, debating r105 vs air2...

Get a second C370 to use as the octo. Why use a less capable regulator in an incident that forces you or a buddy to need it? Just to save a very little money?

Avoid the Air2 option which also requires a non-standard LP inflator hose. They are not nice to use when you have to donate your primary. Again, why add an inferior regulator for an emergency?

Say, what was the metal insert thing ??
Just ordered a pair of the mk11 evo c370 as well yesterday.... (went air2 with hydros pro x2 as well.)

Say, any tips on the knobs on the c370 ??
Picking our mk11 evo set up next week I think...
The lever is dive / predive?? Should it be used just full one way or the other ?? And what happens if I forget to move it off pre, or forget to move to pre ??
The other knobs, cracking or something... is there a cliff notes version of how one would use that ??
Super excited, getting bcds and regs, ..only used rental basic stuff before... jacket, and 2nd with no knobs or levers. 🙂
I greatly appreciate your time, thank you

The predive lever can be adjusted to various levels, I never do that, the predive restricts flow to help prevent free flow, play with it the next time you dive so “you” know how each setting feels.

Your 370 should come set up to operate with the adjusting knob all of the way open, use it like that and if you ever experience some bubbling between breaths turn it in until it just stops. Once you get used to it some fine tuning may be in order but expect very good performance right out of the box.

After several dives I adjusted mine to be set up 1/2 way towards 'DIVE". Please note: each diver has it's own preference and settings.
