Is anyone headed to the Boston Scuba Show in Marlboro? I've found websites with conflicting dates, some say Feb 15, others say Feb 21. Anyone know for sure?

Sounds like a good opportunity for a NELD get-together (aka another excuse to have a beer and talk scuba).

Feb. 21: 55th Edition of the Boston Scuba Diving Show

Hosted by the Underwater Club of Boston. Special guest is Capt. Spencer Slate who will be speaking on The Sinking of the Spiegel Grove. Other presentations include Shipwrecks of Nova Scotia by Dave Clancy, Decompression Modeling by Dave Norman, Diving Beyond Disabilities by Debra Greenhalgh, and a new short film on Diving Thatcher Island. At the Holiday Inn and Resort in Marlboro, Mass. (junction of Routes 495 and 20) from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door or in advance by writing to Cecile Christensen, Apple Ridge 2-6, Maynard, MA 01754 (make check payable to Fred Calhoun). Show phone is 1-978-897-0877.

I don't know anyone who has been, so I have no report on how good a show this is. I have heard that it's a NAUI sponsored show.

I've been toying with the idea of going. Probably the weather will decide for me.

No, this is a Fred Calhoun sponsored show. He used to be with NAUI for a long time, then went to PDIC when they wanted him out of NAUI, and he recently came back to NAUI. I dont think NAUI has much to do with this at all, if anything.

Knowing Fred I can guarantee that it's not NAUI sponsored. Fred wants to be able to do what he wants, with no worries as to who's feathers will be ruffled.

sounds interesting and it is cheap. Even if there is nothing of value there is not much lost.
