In line with what @JonnieB wrote a couple on my trip scored a master cabin six weeks out on a cancellation. Stuff happens, and the balance of the fares are typically due 90 days out so there is frequently some attrition. Same thing happened on my LOB in Truk a couple years ago. If you have a first choice let them know. Maybe even offer to put all the money down if you’re comfortable with that.
