woo hoo! Hubby and I finally booked and can't wait. We have been talking about going to Cocoview off and on for several years but some other destination/trip always came up ....

So we are now officially booked for Nov 15-22nd. Not the best time of year as we understand, but we only had a few weeks available to go anywhere before next summer.... :D

thanks everyone for your help!:grouphug:

Have a great time. I just got back from Anthony's key and did 18 of 20 available dives for the week. The woman sitting next to me on the plane did 28 dives at Cocoview. So you can certainly get you fill in down there.

We are booked for that week also, (Me, spouse and 3 other friends) see you there!

It is our 2nd CCV trip, from what we have heard there really isn't a bad time of year, so expect to have a great trip and log lots of dives.

This new stuff ought to get y'all nuts!

thanks Roatanman, we saw those on CocoChat yesterday. Very interesting reports from a "first time" ocean diver.

Em Dee - see you there! I am sure the weather will be great and the diving will be fabulous. ~chanting, chanting, good karma~~ :D

Actually, at least 75% of our diving is in cold water, even in 20 degree airtemp in wintertime when it is snowing, with vis 20-30' being good and we loved it. We love to dive so ALL diving is good. We especially love diving on our own and shore diving anytime we want, so Cocoview seems to be the best land-based destination for that (other than Bonaire, of course). Our favorite way to dive is on a liveaboard, but Roatanman says Cocoview is the closest thing you can get to a liveaboard. :D So we are giving it a go.

flights are now booked....... :D all we have to do now is pack. :eyebrow:
