I don't know if they work or not, but I can't see Batman using anything else...

Yesterday after work I headed to beach to test out my new Flying Force Fins Tan Delta Smoke Black #67 XL with a bungie. I have dove the Flying Force Fin for many years, but this was going to be my first time using the Flying Force Fin made out of the Tan Delta Material.

I unpacked my fins, enjoyed the sound of the ocean waves and walked into the water. My foot is 10.5 and I was not wearing a booty so I inserted the Comfort instep. They felt a little lose, but tight enough to be responsive and comfortable. Who wants a fins biting down on your foot anyway. They were perfect! I hit the water, quickly put on my fins and I was off-straight to the swim buoys. I was blown away. I was surfacing swimming and they were working like full throttle propellers. I have used Force Fins a lot and I was amazed at how well they moved through the water. Now I did not have a tank on my bank, but I tried to swim on my back just to get an idea about the difference and it was noticeable. Swimming on the surface in face down position was far better for propulsion and comfort. I was loving life. Once I got to the to swim buoy I dove down to the bottom, a mere 30 feet down, and was again loving my Flying Force Fins. I even wondered if I found my new favorite fin, but will have to have at least 10 dives under my belt before I consider switching from my Excellerating Force Fins. I do know that I will never use another fin for snorkeling and for all of my jobs in the harbor swimming in and around ships shafts and propellers and basically all of my commercial diving will be done with my Flying Force Fins.

After my swim I put my fins down at the edge of the breaking waves. I looked at the upcurved wing tips - Winglets - and said to myself now that is a Smart Fin. Headed back to beach today for more snorkeling with my Flying Force Fins!

All I know is, first time she tried'em, she took off like a shot for the buoy and left me behind. I'm like, "Where'd she go?" I don't know how something so simple like just turning the ends down like that can make much of a difference, but there's definitely something going on there.

The Tan Delta Flying Force Fin with a bungie heel strap is the perfect fin for my commercial work I have been doing off the coast of California.

Enjoying the ride home!

Blair, we were happy to see the XL Ruby Red Flying Force today destine for Sir Richard Branson. Thank you Dr. Earle for your 30 years of support. Love Bob

As I am heading down to Long Beach this weekend and watching the storms raging in my front yard, I think about the day of fair winds and calm seas.

I have used the Flying Force Fin in the Original Polyurethane material since 1997. For the last 7 months I have switched to the Flying Force Fin in the Tan Delta Material. I find to provide more power and response and it is now my go to fin when working on the underside of the crew boats that service the oil rigs in this region. The Tan Delta Material makes this an amazing fin. Photo by Kent Knewton

It is blowing 29mph with 17' to 21' seas in the Santa Barbara Channel- Does anybody know if they are running the Catilina Express on Friday?:eyebrow:

I hope it calms down soon there. This weekend I am using my new Adjustable Force Fins with Sharks Teeth Protoypes. My Daughter is very happy playing with her Whacker Spoon that her Uncle Bob sent from Santa Barbara.
