Wow- I didn't even realise there was hoosier and Divin'Hoosier... is there a diving hoosier, too?

Everytime I read BS I think of the OTHER B.S.! I guess with people being upset about the rate hike, that's kind of appropriate!

Yea. But the thing that people don't know is that all of us guys from Indiana (there are LOTS of us on here) ... ARE REALLY THE SAME PERSON! Bwwwaaaahhhhh! (play creepy music sound here). Think about it. Are we EVER SEEN TOGETHER???? Bwwwwwwwaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!

Divin'Hoosier:
I might be up for meeting you ladies out there some evening. I'm in New Palestine, which is only 45 minutes from BS. If you're interested in company, let me know the next time you're heading out there and I'll see if I can join you.

Hoosier is down around Bloomington somewhere. I'm also pretty sure he won't dive BS any more since they raised the prices.

Hoosier is from Bllomington. He also has access to the majic email that allows you into BS for free or reduced rate. Sounds like a good time was had by all.

I do have to comment that I have never experienced this "current".

trucker girl:
Hey, hoosier... where do you live... you up for a game on Wednesday? I might not be able to beat erparamedic, but I bet I can whoop you!

Sorry. I have to prepare for the teaching this coming Wednesday. It is for 80 freshman kids. :shakehead

80 college kids............ Oh~~~ God helps me…..;)

Well,

BS has been my regular dive site (If you check my previous posts, you can see how much I have been stuck on BS.) I added up more than 100 dives over there. The route wasn’t great from my places, but the new road has been built over the last winter so that I can save about 10 min. travel time. However, the gasoline price has been sky rocket and Rick Jacked the entrance fee up. If I go out diving to BS with my GF, it requires $40 plus additional travel cost. It is so hard to justify going back to BS regularly after finding the alternative solution. I might go back for DMing, but my dive shop also decided to go to somewhere else. Like I said, Rick and David are good people to deal with, but just their price doesn’t fit to my eye level. I might go back if my GF wants or any gathering is going on. But, our all diving related cost is always on me, not on my GF. LOL~~~~

Yes. It is true that there are some currents. I was told that there are two or three water sources (springs) into the quarry. I think it makes some currents. It used to be nearby the north side.

I've paid $16 to get into Natural Springs, and the viz was terrible (2 feet by the 3rd dive), and they didn't know how to read the tank stickers and wouldn't fill my tanks... even though the VIP and hydro were totally well in date. Also, the grass/weed growth on the bottom was terrible. I didn't particularly like it there.

I'd gladly pay $20 to get into Blue Springs... even though it doesn't include an air fill. The viz was wonderful for a quarry... 25-30 feet. I much prefer to see where I'm going! I didn't see most of the attractions there, but didn't look either... we had an agenda (UNO!!). Anyway... I don't mind the $20 if the water is nice.

Hey erparamediec- I like the new avatar. Are you playing cards while diving? ;)

For everyone's knowledge- I went to Gilboa today. Spent $12 to get in and bought one air fill (for dive #3- I actually paid Notso_Ken for the fill since he bought 2 when he signed in and I didn't). And... we played one hand of Uno. Notso_Ken is not the Uno fanatic that I am...

That is a good trade off after going up the entrance fee. The classes won't be held over there that much, so I have been told that VIZ is being great. During the off season, BS is also great place to dive in.... I admit it....;)

Thank you!! I am playing cards in the pic! I'm glad you noticed! Trucker Girl has come up with a new name for it too... it's not "underwater UNO" anymore.... now it's SCUBUNO!! I love it!

Hey... TG... you should put one of the scubuno pics up for your avatar. SB wouldn't accept the URL from Photobucket... but I have the pics on my puter, and it took the pic from my files just fine. We could be the only ones with SCUBUNO avatars!

Oh, and since I'm gonna see you on Wed, I'll just give you your set of pics then.

And in December and January the viz is great. :D

I have seen different comments about Natural Springs.
