We will be at the travel logde, still have not booked yet. Will book later today. I will need the extra time Fri morning to get my weight adjusted for my new toys.

New toys? Do tell!

I'm going to contact Stella tonight or tomorrow evening. We need to make sure her compressor is running, and she is there, or I need to find more air! :D I can likely get her to the Hole on Friday, I'll ask. It won't be for long likely, but we can maybe get a few tanks if necessary. I only usually bring two down.

Same hear, we bring two apiece. NEW TOYS: DSS BP/W, long hose and bungie second stage!!! No more integrated alt and inflator hose. Have to get weighting down and run through drills Fri. morning. Can you tell I am bouncing off the wall!!!

Nice dude! I'm looking forward to seeing your DSS! A few folks were diving them in FL at the last invasion, but I did not really take a good look.

You will have no issue with weight. I'd take your original starting weight with the old setup, subtract the plate, and start with that. You will likely be a bit overweighted. At the end of the dive, breath the tank down to 500psi, and do the weight check, and you should be able to knock off a few lbs.

Look forward to diving with you again.. it's been a while.

You into a night dive? I'll make sure I have the local officials numbers so we can call them and let them know we will be there at night.

If I am comfortable enough with the new setup more than likely, if not I will be wacthing from the surface. Sean and his wife will be down in the afternoon to evening as well.

I didn't get info on if Stella's compressor will be running. The folks that went out, forgot to ask.

If you call, post the results. Or, I will call.....

Schweet!! Looking forward to checking your kit out too!! BP&W are SSSOOOOO much better (at least IMO) than the standard BC. You're going to like it!!

I agree with Ron's assessment on the weighting. Should be real close unless your changing exposure protection as well.

Hey Kevin.. oll' buddy, oll' pal!

What are the odds of me diving your doubles... again! :dork2:

I've tried Stella a couple of times, but no answer (and no answering machine!).

I'll get her!

I'm still on the fence on to whether I'll be able to come or not. I should know something as the weekend gets closer. :)

Hi,
Sorry, my first post but I think this relates to this thread.
Just came back from BH late last night. The compressor was running Friday but not Saturday or Sunday. The weekend early afternoon temps were great ... about 70 in the sun. I did a night dive Friday in a 7mm and was comfortable until post dive. My hands felt frozen 5 minutes after I took my gloves off. The USAFA had a class there but after they left it was just a half dozen in an OW class. Enjoy your trip!
