I tend to avoid the bridge on the weekends. Sorry. But you will be with Gold Coast and they are a good group.

Some photos from the past couple dives, night dive on Friday.
Mom and Dad seahorse. Dad is on the lower left and you can see his pouch. :)

I'm planning on diving the bridge on Sunday with the Gold Coast Meetup group. It will be my first time. Last March when I was in FL, the bacteria levels were too high to dive. Are any of you regular trolls going to be there on Sunday?

Sorry but weekends are a bit too crowded for this bridge orge to be there but I'm sure lots will be willing to lend you a hand. If no one offers here just introduce yourself to some divers there and they will be happy to help. Plan on being in the water about 30 minutes before hi tide and make sure you have a flag.

Lots of fun for this ogre at the bridge today...water is cooling and clearing, temp 75 and viz 35 so only 117 minutes today.Saw a number of seahorses including baby-daddy, who looks ready to drop any minute. Bet he'll have the babies tomorrow when I can't be there. I saw a snake eel but students swam right over me while I was trying to get close and scared him away. I also saw what I think is a harlequin ribbonworm (not at all sure on this ID).
I'm loving these temps...it seems to keep a lot of the divers away.

I'll hope BD waits until I'm there Thursday to give birth...would be great to capture the moment.
I hope to see a few more of my trollier friend there too!

that's not a snake eel.. :) that's Jet's whip eel!!

And I've been seeing a lot of those ribbon worms. Very cool.. had yet to pull out the book to identify!

And..ooohhhhh Daddy is getting so big! It's been quite exciting to see the progress over the past few weeks/months!

Is it very bad on weekends? It's a holiday too. Would you recommend Friday instead?

Depends on what you call bad? For some, it's the only time they can go. For others, it's a bit crowded. yes, I have gone on the weekends and braved the crowds. And if you're from out of town, and going with a group, it should be OK.
Course, I recommend going whenever possible.

Wanted to introduce my wife and I and say how much we enjoy this thread.
We have been diving the bridge for the last year whenever possible and always find something new.
We would like to meet more trolls but usually go from our boat (Biminitwist) to do night dives when the park is closed.
Dove both night and morning dives on the 23rd and 24th and were treated to our first whip eel, spotted snake eel and tounge fish to name a few. Also found a reddish brown nudie bigger than my hand under the fishing pier along with the usual suspects.
Will try to posts some pictures when I can figure out how from home.
