I planned on BHB Thursday or Friday, but I may go up there tomorrow if you will allow me to tag along. I just got back from a boat dive - viz was great ( down here off of Pompano Beach ) What time are you hitting the water tomorrow? 742 is high tide... hitting the water by 7? Let me know !!!

Thanks!

I saw a 6 ft nurse shark on a night dive with KP last fall. But sadly no photographs - it was moving way too quickly.

LOL. Did't you hear? I biked Shark Valley this weekend and came across some "not fighting" alligators. Plus LOTS of babies. My out of town guests were thrilled!

Why does this not suprise me? :d

Hi tide Wednesday is 0828, I think we are planning to get wet by 0745 or a tad earlier.

Happy and proud to say I made my first dive at the Bridge last Saturday eve/night while on a business trip to So. Fla Amazing! I'll be back for more. Nice break fron NY even though here it's been a mild winter. Thanks to this Thread, the "trolls" and Scubaboard for planting the seed to get to this great location!

Jet, can you just drive up and down my block a couple of times this weekend? I'm kinda hoping your recent mojo might stimulate some extra "not fighting" at my house....

:cuddles:

Well fellow trolls viz wasn't too good today...4 to 7 feet. Took J, J (no jet not you two!) and TE on the east side. No great photo ops but Jason saw a stargazer under the bridge, plus a few shortnosed batfish, we also saw a huge school of jacks.

Bottom temp is holding at 73 and we had a total dive time was about 102 minutes (their mileage may vary) split between 3 "mini" dives.
It was good to meet TE and glad he finally got a bridge dive even if the viz was poor.
Once again as an official "unofficial" bridge ogre I'd like to welcome J and J as the newest trolls (and yes they now know the secret hand shake).

I hoping that viz will be much better tomorrow...see you there.

As Scubajim1 said, the viz today was pretty bad, but I think a good time was had by all. I enjoyed meeting Tony, just wish the viz would have been better for him on his first bridge dive like it was for Jenn and I yesterday.

I saw a couple of batfish, a stargazer, a bunch of filefish I've never seen before, two scorpion fish, and a horseshoe crab that looked like he was trying to "not fight" with a starfish, don't know what was gong on there.

Time in 8:08am/BT 97 min/ depth 23 ft/water temp 73 ⁰F/ vis 5-10 ft

Whoa whoa whoa, secret hand shake? I feel cheated !!!!! That school of Jack Cravalles was awesome !!! I wish the viz would have been better, but bottom time is bottom time... and... A smooth sea never made a skilled mariner.

Not sure where you dive but the last time I went (2 or 3 weeks ago), there were about 6 jawfish just north of the little bridge (east side). That day only 1 or 2 had eggs but I find them there all of the time with eggs (this time of the year).

Dang! Hadn't planned on getting back down for a few weeks. Very tempted to head down this weekend, now. Any idea how long "this time of year lasts"?? TIA

Kevin
