Skeet1097 and MantaRey,

Hey guys..I am still "go" for this Sunday at LBS Lauderadalby-the-sea. Me and Capt. Nemo aka Buckeye698 will be there early...like 5am ealry!! Then we plan for a relaxing breakfast and then a second helping of the ocean. MantaRey/Skeeter1097 you BOTH are invited, I don't know either of you, but that is fine with me, this is how people make friends. MantaRey, I read your profile...you keep it clean and without clutter..my lord!! you must be my nemisis!!hahahaha..I look like a swimming dive shop!!
Anyway, that's cool..Skeeter1097 never fear, me and the buckeye keep it real laid back...no stress...no over technical stuff...no hurry!!...no problem mon, every ting be alright. If we got anymore laid back down there, we would be drinking margaritas and making time with the mermaids..haaaa! If your both or either serious, send me a PRIVATE message and I'll give you my 411-info.

Until then my friends...be safe and above all be kind
Chris

Sorry I'll miss out on the Lauderdale dive, sounds like fun. I'll be at tigertail lake near the Bass pro shop for Halcyon days, then hopefully over to the beach for the other dive show.

I did talk to the folks at Force E about the Phil Foster opening and they think it will be next month. They are located on the west side of the bridge and are a great place to get tanks filled, local knowledge ect.

One of my many photographers afore mentioned did their own digging and found:

Hi, I found a posting from you on the web regarding the status of Phil Foster Park:
http://www.co.palm-beach.fl.us/PubInf/News_Room/09-05/09-12-05_phil_foster.htm

Do you have any news on when the Park is re-opening? We have heard the middle of April (which didn't happen) and the end of April .... Do you have the official date?

>>>
Phil Foster Park is scheduled to be opened on May 5th.

Commissioner Karen T. Marcus

So, we shall see ... cross yer fingers.

Was there any mention of the 'extra scenery'?

I myself am not into baiting the water.

lol Just kidding... Is it too soon?

Finally made the trip back under the bridge!
Yes, the park is nice,
but No, they haven't quite gotten rid of the panhandlers.

Sat had a 1:45pm high tide, and eager divers we ... were waiting for the tide to slow down at 12:50. At 1:10pm is was diveable if you clung to something or ducked in between the pillars.

The east span still has two teeny sailboats sunken under the span, but a Lot of life has already taken up residence within.

Since I can't post photos here :(
try my yahoo album ...

Beware the warhammer shot ..... and No I will not post where the hippocampus are as I dont want em snatched up by collectors!

Nice baby puffer... Where the hell are you people seeing the sea horses?!?! I must be going blind. lol

No not blind they are just hard to see. I have seen 2 seahorses in my diving life, in Utila, and they both had to be pointed out to me before I saw them.

Very nice pictures! I chased the Seahorses around for an hour but he kept turning his head away!
I guess I'll have to schedule another trip...
