my biggest problem with all the "jumpers" is they get in the way of divers at the stairs, they leave un-attended kids in your way, and they leave shoes all over the place. I have seen divers fall down in full gear trying to avoid one of these hazzards. In fact, a scuba instructor fell and broke his leg in two places one weekend a few years ago. He ended up having surgery and I think he quit diving as a result (last I heard). I fell on stairs once myself when I was getting out of water after a dive, not due to crowds though. Since then I am very nervous about exiting the water and if there is anyone blocking my exit or shoes laying at top of stairs.... let's just say I am not nice about it. :blinking:
I think Ron and I are going over one day soon, not sure when. We'll just be doing a few dives to get ready for the NC trip. A big RMO dive trip is definitely in order for Aug or Sept. The jumpers are usually gone when school starts back at end of Aug.
