I have this one and it is probably great but I am afraid to use it because it is so thin and the buckle only has 1 pin:

I have tried to break the band by stretching it and it is tough as hell and goes back to original shape every time but I am still scared by how thin it is and the single pin buckle thing.
You could always get a burlier NATO strap, but all these designs have a single point of failure in the buckle/buckle pin. Same thing with the OEM strap or the Shearwater NATO strap. You'd need to back it up with bungee, cave line, etc. - some other completely redundant loop that connects the two sides of the strap if you really want to back it up. Here's the Narkedat90 strap someone mentioned upthread - https://www.narkedat90.com/teric-bm-teric-bungee-mount-narkedat90-product.html. No buckle failure here, but even with 4 independent bungee loops it still looks to me like you are 1 watch pin failure away from ratio deco and needing a new computer. I haven't seen one in person so maybe someone who has one will chime in. I assume the mount is two plastic pieces that mount to each of the watch pins on each side of the Teric and the bungee is just threaded through those? I haven't ever seen the back/bottom of one.

I think we all know what the real solution is..a Teric on each arm. That should cover most scenarios. Even if a shark bites one of your arms off you will still know how much deco to do. Two sharks...well.. back to ratio deco.

There is the Shearwater Elastic Strap Kit on DGX: https://www.divegearexpress.com/shearwater-elastic-strap-kit

This is what I think people are already saying they use in this thread.

The problem I have with this one is the buckle. Maybe I scratch it on a rock and it just falls apart. I have seen too many of these plastic quick release buckles fail in my life. Now, I could use 2 straps at once for redundancy but then it would look lame if I try to wear it to dinner after a day of diving.

It is pretty hardy, I use it cave diving so it gets banged around a lot.

But even a single strap it looks pretty stupid wearing it outside of diving. I just leave them in my gear box, and put on a Suunto 7 smartwatch.

Here you go..mission accomplished (sort of..) - https://www.amazon.com/Bungee-Adapter-Shearwater-Teric-Computer/dp/B07WCZYQS5

Teric retained in the event of one pin failure - check. Two redundant loops around the arm - check (if you rig it correctly). Downside - other than the obvious bulkiness, etc. it looks like you have to unscrew the pins to charge it. That seems like it might cause the pins to be much more failure prone than correctly torqueing them once and then simply leaving them alone. IMHO, still a bit of a rule 6 violation compared to a NATO strap if you were to wear it to dinner, but I guess nobody at Waffle House really looks too closely at your watch band so that might not be an issue..

That same dude made another version - https://www.amazon.com/Bungee-Adapt...er+for+Shearwater+Teric&qid=1612340371&sr=8-1

This one avoids the pin unscrewing to charge issue, but shares the single watch pin failure vulnerability of the Narkedat90 strap and stock non-NATO straps.

Hey, come on. Don't you remember when it was cool to wear a bunch of Swatches on your arms? We're trying to get that to be a thing again...just with Terics this time.
