Were the clams where I thought they were when you went last time or was I wrong?
 
im not sure. they where a little north of where you said i think....
we parked by the stop sign and swap due east tuill about 12 fsw and there they where.....

cherry -stones and chodas mainly... a few necks.....
 
Many dead shells? That disease I was talking about usually gets the 1.5-2 year old clams, which are just about market sized.
 
in the area where they where there where not alot of dead shells.....
i did also find some big snail with spiral shells while digging
 
That's a whelk of some sort. I beleive they are usually predatory. Some of them suck blood from clams and stuff :yuck:

I don't think they're edible but I could be wrong about that.
