August! Who is going to be there?

I would now be in the August who was there thread. Just got back and had a great stay at Scuba Club. The island is pretty quiet this time of year but the diving was still wonderful. After three dives in a 3/2 full I went the next 16 dives in board shorts only and was quite comfy even on hour long dives. Saw seahorses, toad fish, sharks, along with the largest Green Moray (7') I have ever seen and some humongous parrot fish.

Will be back in December staying at Fiestamericana, until then will have to make do with Bonaire in Sept. Yes, I have been saving up some dive trips. Will post pics at my smugmug site once I weed through and process them all.

Met and dove with Jim, Deborah and others in their group last year.. Great people, had a lot of fun !!!

Excuse the video, it was the first time the G-12 had been underwater and first video ever taken with it in a housing (no lights).

I don't know if this was posted anywhere else on here yet but Wet Wendy's is also having their 6th Annual Hungarian Food and Jazz Night on August 20th.

I believe you need to make reservations as it sells out fairly quickly.

I went last year and it was a great time with some fantastic food cooked by Klara's mom.

Highly recommended. I do love Mexico food but it's not very often I get to try/eat Hungarian food.

Yes! Unfortunately Laura's father passed away last Tuesday. We had to cancel this trip! :depressed: Hope to see all of you sometime in the near future! Eat some Lion Fish for me! And be sure to toast Don's birthday tonight with a big margarita!

Happy birthday Don! Just sorry I couldn't be there to celibrate it with you!

Hope you are coping well in this stressful time Bill. I am diving, eating three times as much as usual, watching chicks, and currently on the balcony in my undies.
