August 4th Meet, Greet, and Shore Dive Dania Beach, Fl

I need a room for Friday night for the wife and I. Any recommendations?

Hmm, I don't know the prices down here, but I know that people visiting me (but not staying with me...I have five cats!!) have used Sleep Inn...not far from Hollywood Beach, and Comfort Inn...close to the airport. There are hundreds more within five miles of my house (I live near the beach and the airport so that's why!) I don't think people cared one way or the other about the Sleep Inn, but a couple of friends use the Comfort Inn frequently when they fly in/out.

Strangely enough, whenever I travel and meet people from other states, and they ask where I live and I say Dania Beach, many will reply "Oh, I know where that is...whenever I need to stay near FLL for a cruise or something I stay at Luckey's Motel." I drive right by it every day on my way to/from work, it looks OK I guess. I can't find a website for them, but if you Google them there are dozens of hotel listing websites with more information.

There are literally thousands of motels and hotels in Broward...sorry, I am simply not personally familiar with them so I'm not comfortable giving a recommendation.

I think I can handle the stay-over accomodations. I'm a camper, so a corner of the room is all I really need. hehe

What should I plan on bringing food-wise?

I assume 4:30p is Saturday?

Welcome to the board dont be concerned about the room share at this moment it all women on 2 guys and they are with their women ... it should be fun .... we can find you a private corner or something

Would it be possible for me to come out on Friday night? I'm off work at 7, not sure exactly how long the drive is to there(I'm guessing you do..*grin*) I'm more of a night person, so I'd rather drive out the night before and sleep in as long as humanly possible. lo

That stuff looks awesome! The last time I saw something like that was in Costa Rica, very nice.
