With that being said, what was worst, OC or Taser training?
I'll agree with Knight, and say OC is worse. I'm very sensitive to it, and suffer for the rest of the day. The great thing about Taser is, once it's off, you're fine! Other than it feeling like you did a workout...

ooh here is a question: Why is it that I never see cops hiding in peoples driveways...they are always in a "public place" when they are parked at a speed trap. They can definitely hide in my driveway and catch a bunch of people.

Easy, its private property. I cant be on your property without your permision or a valid legal reason. Deffintly not going to go knocking on peoples door and ask if I can park in their driveway. Besides, I have no problem catching plenty of people just by sitting in plain site.

That and we have to be carefull where we park. We technicly can't "hide"

The problem with private drives is getting the permission. Public places are always open, so it's never a problem. Also, your driveway might not be the best spot to run lidar/radar. You have to worry about the angle that the cars are coming at you, and visibility.

I live on a rural highway, our house is about 1000 feet off the main road. Since we live in the middle of a straightaway people love to roar past the slow cars.

Cops use our driveway :) I've gone down and dropped off a soda a few times when I spot them down there.

You can't hide???? That's crazy!! I'm always hidden from view...kinda defeats the purpose otherwise.

Thats cool that your so supportive of that. A lot of people hate us even being around, let alone on thier property.

I don't like seeing cars go 100 mph past my place, you bet I'm supportive.

Now that jerk photo cop down in town, let's talk about HIM!!! ;)

Yea, we arent allowed to hide, now that dosent mean I have to sit in the middle of the road, but I cant have the whole car obscured.

Like I said, I still have no problem catching people. On a slow night with no call outs, I'll usually do about 25-40 stops

Geesh, that's alot of traffic. I work in a large city that borders Milwaukee...and I wouldn't even THINK about doing that much in one night. First of all, the supervisor would have his foot so far up my rear that I'd taste the shoe leather. Second of all, there isn't that much traffic...and we have 1 freeway (Milwaukee County Sheriff patrols that) and 4 state highways running through!
Also, the rest of the squads (between 7-10 others) would be allllll over me.
