Looks like people, both two legged AND four legged, had a good time here ... :)

The extra 20 miles was a questionable invest eh? I'm home in a week, but the time is drrrraaaaagiiiiing oooonn to the point that I feel like a heroin addict with no heroin right now. Can't wait to dive.

Yes, it was a good time, my buddy Tim, who showed with his rotties Merlin and Gwenny, actually put on my gear to help LM look for her mask, although he ended up following a catfish. He has been hard to convince to come out and dive Travis, he just came out to let dogs swim yesterday, but maybe a little taste will hook him again.

The extra drive is probably not worth it every weekend just for diving, but if bringing dogs or non divers out for day that would even things out. For an overnight place with a place to shore dive I'd say it's well worth the trip if you can handle unimproved facilities. For just a quick weekend dive WP and Mansfield still a better bang for the buck.

Downsides-this is not a dive park, there is boat traffic in and out of cove, increasing from about 1-6, so you want to navigate so that you can come up on shore or at flag and to carry an smb in case you do need to surface elsewhere. There is also fishing going on, as well as recreational swimming.
