Geography lesson: it is nearly 300 miles from Albany to Buffalo (east to west across the state) and Albany is 150 miles outside (north) of New York City

I alway attempt to clarify it as many only identify "New York" as New York City. I am not in/from New York City (and there is much more here than just New York City)!
