Was miso soup, but enjoyable nonetheless, got rolled heavily by a rogue wave getting in, no reg in mouth, no mask, no fins on feet, took my breath away. Complacency

Yes, certainly an error on my part. Was actually flat as, came out of nowhere. It's never happened to me before. Won't happen again.

I have occasional buddies who do, I think due to flexibility issues. If it's not flat I walk in reg in mouth, mask on face, roll onto my back and put fins on. If it's flat I walk in mask around neck, reg clipped off and roll on back and put fins on.
Today, like I said, flat as, out of nowhere this wave appeared and I thought "oh s.it" then it was on me
