Some divers use a spare LP whip for things like liftbag inflation... maybe one of the designers at Poseidon thought this was worth catering for.

jonnythan once bubbled...

Does anyone really use a redundant BC bladder for single tank drysuit diving?

I don't (assuming by single tank you mean single reg - no Y valve : ) ) known anyone who does, but it's about the only thing I could imagine having 5 LP hoses for...
I'm open to suggestions though

I have one of the Xstreams with multiple ports and I love it. I have alway dove Odins, and it breathes easier than the Odin does. I dove it four times, all at over 100ft and 38-45 degree water. It worked flawlessly. I have a 7ft hose.

The manual says to only use it with air, and 21% O2 is the max. However, I have no idea how this reg differs from the others internally. Check with the shop that services your Odins and try to get an answer.
