I too would recommend the BP/W if I was going to shell out money for a new BC. However, if you feel like you just got to have a BCD, then I would definitely recommend the Zeagle. My normal dive buddy has an old one that still works great. It is tough as nails and does have some of the features that make a wing a nice set-up.
I for one, made the mistake of buying a BCD when I wasn't sure about whether I wanted a wing or BCD and then had to work at getting it "switched over" to wing (i.e. sell the BCD to get money to buy a BP/W). I made an unnecessary "middle" step that I regretted.
Most of my diving is from a zodiac type (think BIG zodiac) boat here in the Baltic sea. We carry lost of lead due to the cold water and very few have integrated weights pockets. I have less than 2 kilos of ditchable weight, so my heavy rig with the 20 kilogram HP steel tank PLUS the lead has to be raised over the side! We do this everyday. AND that's with a single tank!
I would NOT let "pulling the pockets" be a deciding factor for me, though it may be to you. IF you feel that you just HAVE to have integrated weights, they do sell this for the BP/W harness.
