I've heard these "reports of failures" for years now and never seen any solid data to corroborate them. I've even had other divers on the boat tell me "Oh, you shouldn't be using that VT3 with your camera and external strobe. The strobe will interfere with it." Yea, right. I've taken THOUSANDS of photos with several different cameras, never had a problem.
Over hundreds of dives I think my computer has lost sync with the transmitter 3 or 4 times. All I do then is just move my arm to a different position and it comes right back. In my opinion, that falls directly in B.F.D. territory.
