At the beginning I thought the screen was a step back, Fromm all dot-matrix to segments + partial dot-matrix only at the center, but visibility is very much improved, although now you have to use the two side buttons to scroll for more info while diving. Now in diving mode at the four corners you always have: tank level, rbt, current depth and diving time. In the center you have no deco time. If you use buttons the information at the center changes.

It's also smaller and lighter. I replaced the silicon bracelet with elastic bands, so it's also more streamlined.

Oh and the screen protector now is like those smartphone ones.

All functions are the same.

New dives, new "low signals" alarms and one disconnection.

I will try replacing transmitter batteries (the Luna 2 is brand new). Yet, the old Luna was not getting disconnected at all and yet if it's the transmitter battery shouldn't I get a warning on theu a 2?

Annoying fit a computer that just came out and is working worse than a 13 year old one.

Did you try communicating with the dealer you bought it from or SP Technical services concerning this issue?

I am still of the position that 13 year old batteries are quite old and would be the first thing to check/change

13 year old batteries

If this is the case here, then they should have been changed a long time ago first thing.

The dealer is a friend of mine, we'll try changing transmitter battery

I agree, as an engineer today I just wanted a final proof 😂
