Well, this weekend I had to laugh at myself.

My wife and I bought a new smaller pool for my young son.
So she asks me to blow it up--- I am thinking you must be nuts we have over eight scuba tanks.

So this is a new self certifying class. You need one blow up pool, a regulator set and a scuba tank with air or better.
Level one is air
Level two is either Nitrox one or Nitrox two (32% or 36% for you new divers) and
Level three is for over 36% for Adv Nitrox pool filling.
There is talk of mixed gas level but it is under NOAA review for filling requirements based on helium content (yeah right.)

Hypoxic gas is not recommended around teenagers as they might try to breather it for the Donald Duck effect. I say this as I have a 16 yod in the house.

So I have been hauling out my steel 98 with more than 36% for filling the pool to get my level 3 certification. :rofl3:

All of this is in good jest. I am always looking for alternative options for the use of our expensive nitrox fills.

Andrew

I hope you had that kiddie pool O2 cleaned prior to filling.
