Ok. Tuesday it is. I have some work to do in the morning, but could free up by noon.

I think that it rained really hard up in the mountains yesterday. I spent the day around Cameron Pass today. The ground was saturated everywhere, and there were huge puddles in the middle of the jeep trails. All of the gates to the jeep trails were closed and locked...very strange for 4th of July weekend.
I walked around Chambers Lake, Lost Lake, and Laramie Lake. The water was brackish in all of them...not good. Sounds like what you saw at Red feather Lakes, Bill.
Maybe its the heavy spring runoff. I don't know. Last time I was up there you could 4wd drive up to the lakes, and they were very clear.

We might have the best luck on Tuesday up near Pingree Park.
Or if we can get a couple of inflateables, we could try Haligan Res.
 
Can any of these be done in a 7mm?

I'm looking into getting my own drysuit but havent pulled the trigger on one yet. Kind of hoping to find that good deal on a used one (5'6 155lbs 31"W)
 
Scratch my last post, I can go anywhere now with my new to me (used for 6 dives, never been flooded, still looks brand new) CF200X I got for a 1/3rd the cost of new! :D

I work on Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday 7:30am - 4pm normally, but I just left a message for my boss seeing if I can trade my wednesday for tuesday this week. I think he's up in the mountains today but when I hear back I'll let you know ASAP. :)

Sounds good their are three or four of us going so far.
 
Boss says I am good to trade, what time we all meeting? I just rent tanks right now, is 2 AL80's okay?
 
If there is an odd number of people, I might be able to go if someone needs a buddy.
Honestly, I would give my right arm to go get wet but because I havn't been able to get my own gear yet, what's the chances of renting gear? I would need to rent a heavy duty wet suit, BCD, regs and tank.
does this sound too far fetched?
