this morning was a leg burning 15mins fast pace walk with hubby to the bus stop to catch the city express... i even had to jog (well my version of a jog) to catch up with him a few times, then a 30mins easier pace around and back to home

legs were burning.... hubby has to catch this bus for a week for a conference so i might walk with him again tomorrow.


oh, and in the rush to leave the house i forgot my camera so no pic today
 
No work out for me today......donated blood to the Red Cross and nearly passed out. I donated at the gym I'm a member of and they told me if I showed up to work out tonight, they'd kick me out no matter how badly I want to work off the cookies they nearly shoved down my throat before I walked out the door this afternoon.

only recently have i been able to get work interested in donating - 8 people last time so its a ongoing bonding process with the office

and dont worry about the cookies - how much does a pint of blood weight ;)

did good - rest for one day and go back to the gym tomorrow!!!
 
Might do a workout today, I feel sad today :(

Not really, I'm kinda feeling lonely or feel everything is ignoring me, I was trying to be funny in the bikini rebreather thread but it seems like I'm in that storm. :shakehead:
 
enjoy the peace and quite for a while Roy.... sometimes its nice to be left alone

but :hugs: and i hope the feelings pass soon...... and look outside the window for something to be joyful about - alot of blessings to be grateful for so remind yourself of one

and dont worry about the rebreather thread - im enjoying it and while im not trying to be funny im the comedian of the group ;)

I'm sure a pint of blood weighs enough to drop a pound or 2 ;)

I think the worst part about working out so much is that I feel like all I do is eat...it's healthy stuff...lots of veggies, but I'm dieing for chocolate and potato chips and goldfish crachers or something (perhaps it doesn't help that "that time of the month" is right around the corner?) :D
 
Managed to work up the motivation to do some ab work in front of the TV last night. :)

Off to MD to see my folks for a few days...but I promise to at least try to work out a bit :D
 
another fast paced walk to get hubby on the city express bus then a bit of my usual pace before home

todays pic, getting hubby on the 6.17am bus (he down from a size xxl to a size l in his jumpers now) and a old church near our house.. the misty vapour is my breath as it was a bit chilly this morning
