I started interval training yesterday on the elliptical machine for 30 minutes. 1 minute in the 80% to 90% of my maximum heart rate zone, 2 minutes in the 60% to 70% of my maximum heart rate zone. I was amazed at how I felt afterwards! I was amazed I could perform so well even while I was breathing heavy and sweating profusely. I know when I start technical dive training my sac rates are going to be awesome!!!!

Roy try not to hold up indoor and alone... go for a walk and say 3 things about yourself that make you happy

me? well yesterday i did nothing BUT i did eat well at least

this morning was 6.15am training session and ive packed a good food day also

day 5 and no hot choc and banana bread from the yummy cafe across the road - i keep reminding myself that i want to fit easily into my wetsuit next week!

Another 40+ minute beach walk yesterday, plus I did all the muscle strengthening exercises on the Wii - some of them SUCK LOL but I could definitely feel it. I finally after all these years think I *get* exactly how a lunge should work, never felt I was getting max benefits out of them before. Now I do ;)

Also did a 10 minute errand brisk walk, a few rounds of tennis & some baseball, hula hooping and the short course run on the Wii. It's turning into a great thing making me take a little break now and then from the desk AND I'm laughing way more each day!

Tilly and the kitties were lazy almost all day

Dora was asleep with her head under the blankets so I didn't disturb her :D

Yep! Thats what I did yesterday, went running and met a lab dog which was lost. I took her leash and it seemed like she wanted me to take her for a walk so I continued running or walking until I found the owner. Turned out to be a very happy and rewarding day. :blinking:

Plus my arm kit came in so now I could mount my strobe on to the camera and have fun with it. Also met a famous musician and next week I'll be taking lessons from him. Gonna go back to piano which I missed. But September 20th, its my Big Sur trip! And now in double tanks and a drysuit, I'll be unstoppable. :D

Roy - what a big day! That's awesome and it sounds like you have some great stuff planned :)

I took it easy yesterday with just a ten minute brisk walk, ten minutes hard aerobic stuff on the Wii and lots of this and that in the house.

I'm feeling the effects of doing the muscle strengthening exercises on the Wii from the other day. For sure my form is kicking with the feedback I'm getting from it coz I can feel each muscle I used in exactly the right place. Very cool.

Driving back from a client meeting I saw this big emu in the open space across from our house, so I pulled over and cautiously walked into the bush to see if he'd let me close. He seemed mellow enough mostly...

But I was a bit paranoid he'd do the charging thing a couple of times LOL
