Went to the gym again yesterday afternoon. Did 20 min of the treadmill (1.08 miles; 120 calories I think) and then did 15 min on the stationary bike (4.65 miles; 97 calories).

6am here and i will be out diving all day :yeahbaby:

helping a freind out who is doing his phd in seahorses...... so will be out tagging (he does the tagging) and counting them

i remember when my main goal was to fit into me wetsuit so i could go diving....now to make that suit a little less snug!

Yeah for diving! I hope that you have a great day. Hubby and I are superbusy with friends, a nitrox course and - hopefully - getting wet on Monday (a US holiday). We've had some really rough seas with 8-12' NW swells (bad for our local dive spots), so hopefully Monday will cooperate and we'll be getting in the water. (fingers & toes crossed)

....now to make that suit a little less snug!

I know the feeling. I want to slim down to drop some of the lead and possibly to get a drysuit in the future. Have to keep working out for that!

3 dives, 5hrs, 267 seahorses and im buggered!!

was helping a friend count seahorses for his work (fisheries) and his phd

i packed the esky and we had healthy brekkie and lunch and ready to do it all again tomorrow :multi:
 
Awesome. Sounds like fun.

I worked out last night - 15min(treadmill) with 20 min(bike) - total calories about 2.50. I wasn't really paying too much attention, but got my heart rate up nice and high - that's what counts.

What's frustrating me at this point is that I have gained about 3/4 of a # from when I have started. I know, it is not devastating and probably equates to the muscle I've put on in the last 2 weeks, but I hate to see the movement in that direction. C'est la vie. Just have to keep at it I guess.
 
Today's stats - 35 minutes on the elliptical. 412 calories and 2.7 miles. Went to the beach and chased a 3 year old around the tidepools with the hubby as well. That was fun. Tired and going to take a shower now. :)
 
Yay! I'm back on the exercise wagon! Did 3 dives today!

And Alcina, here is some 12 megapixel of pure image from my "parent's birthday present to me" Canon A650i along with my new Sea and Sea YS-110 strobe. :D

I need to get a wide angle lens though...:shakehead:







Otherwise, I'm exercising, but putting some muscles in to gain some organic weight belt and dump the lead weights!
 
Hey guys, I have been working out, but I've been too busy to log on. They're really loading it on us at school, and it will get progressively worse as Spring Break nears. I have 2 final exams the day before I leave to Cozumel, eww, I guess you could say that I will really need this vacation.......When we return form Spring Break, I will begin my clinical rotations at the hospital, wish me luck!....:D
 
claiming my diving today as my exercise... in full gear walking to and from the site, up a hill and a 90min dive and 3 baby bronze whaler sharks.... pretty happy with that

6am tomorrow is cardio.... im still sore from all the weekend stuff/friday kickboxing so feeling good about my efforts

Yesterday 1 1/2hrs weights, 600 cals burned on the elliptical. Last night ate, ate, ate.
It was my first pig out dinner in a week. Guilts set in today so I am going to hit the elliptical hard today. I allow myself usually one normal meal every week to 10 days as a reward to myself. (Been doing this since the beginning of the new year.)

Coz in 9 days at an AI, talk about getting the guilts.........NOT ;)
