Today did a 4 hour walk down the harbor looking at the military ships because today is fleet week. Unfortunately the whole place closed :shakehead: so I just went for a walk about the piers and etc. I'll probably exercise some more later tonight.

EDIT: Did extra workout and that concludes for the night!
 
aggghhhhhhhhhhh after a week of diving and getting in and out of boats and up ladders my legs are still sore but this morning i slogged it up and down a few hills for 30mins

gotta keep going!!!!!!!!!

ive been thinking lately do i need to join a gym to give me that ommhhhhhfffff that i need?

ive had a great postiive food day today BUT then one of my co-workers just bought me a chocolate :shocked:
 
Ok, sorry, have not posted in a while. In an attempt to get really fit for the Fiji trip next March, I am making a serious effort instead of the half hearted attempts over the past year. I have now completed the 11th day with at least 30 minutes exercise. I have notched the minimum up to 40 minutes for the past two days.
 
Hmmm....

1. Did 90 minute cardio (ouch!)

2. ate food that totalled under 1,000 calories

3. Pretty much nothing else!

Well, gonna go take a shower, watch CourtTV and don't use the internet too much. :D
 
Hey all! I didn't know about this challenge...but I'm in! I just saw it on Almity's signature and clicked on it :)

I've actually been doing a challenge of my own for the past month and a half and have been doing great! I had a set-back for the past 6 days with a nasty head and chest cold...but I'm feeling better and got back into the groove this morning!

What I've been doing is:
  • 5 to 6 days a week of cardio (either power walking on the Coz waterfront for 3 miles or 45 minutes to an hour on the treadmill)
  • 3 to 4 days a week of weights
  • Stability and core strengthening workout videos
  • Eating "clean" - nothing processed, only fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains and low-fat/hi-protein meats such as chicken and fish
  • 1500 calories per day

Since I started this way of life in earnest a month and a half ago (I've started and stopped many times before...but this time I WILL do it), I've lost over 10" and 12 pounds.

So, there's my status update for now...and I'll report in as often as possible!

Today's workout:
45 minutes treadmill at 5mph
Upper body work-out
