mempilot--a quick reminder in case you haven't been up this way in a while; the construction on 95 once you hit Palm Beach county is a disaster, so you may need even more time.

Thanks for the heads up K. I haven't done a dive out of PBC since last Spring. I was planning on a two hour drive from S. Lauderdale. Maybe I'll pad it with another 30 min and if Ash and I get there early, we can grab a bite somewhere.KBeck:mempilot--a quick reminder in case you haven't been up this way in a while; the construction on 95 once you hit Palm Beach county is a disaster, so you may need even more time.
KBeck:I imagine two hours is plenty of time; I'd guess the traffic would be lighter than usual, with most people taking time off for the holidays.
As for somewhere to eat around there, it's not the nicest area of town; I'd have to think long and hard for anywhere nearby to eat....including even fast food.
However, speaking of; will anyone want to do dinner after? There's a diver hang out kinda place a little north of there, the Brass Ring that has all the beer and burgers you can want. Nothing fancy, but great for a post-dive rehash.
you know you love us!!!Scuba_Jenny:Brass Ring is good! Been there once.
Wish I could join ya'll.... maybe (Hermit Crab and) I can sneak up there for dinner with ya'll. Ya'll are worth it, right?
