2 years old air in steel tank; safe to use?

I have steel tank filled with air 2 years ago. Can not fill it now (lockdown). Safe to use?

Breath off it and if it tastes okay then use it.

The only real risk, providing the air was good originally, is that rusting has taken place within the tank due to moisture reducing the O2 content. If you have access to an oxygen analyzer this could be quickly determined. Although this scenario is unlikely it is possible.

Well that's beyond normal hydro in my neck of the woods, so I'd be doing a vis and hydro first.

However, what does an air fill cost? If it bothers the owner then take it to a shop for a vis (and maybe a hydro) then get it refilled before using it.

Same as my previous post although I did get an old tank that was last filled about 40 years prior and the CO was really high, not because it changed but because it was originally a bad fill.
