Trying to use old double tank bands originally for steel 2,250 72s. with a backpack and double hose reg. Volume of gas is not the issue but do not want a lot of cylinder weight.

Thanks..............

Newer bands are standardized on 8.5" centers. Older bands who knows it was all over the map.

If you find someone making 6.9" bands in 2025 I'll be surprised

From a vintage perspective, too thin too broad and look really stoopid

Yup...I have a vintage set of double bands [narrow] with ScubaPro backpack that I wish to match with new cylinders....hopefully the center to center is 8.5" since I have a great solid manifold already [one of the XS black manifolds made for military]....all this to primarily dive my double hose regs....ideally looking for lighter weight 50-60Cf bottles....

Appreciate any information.....
