So far we have 3 planning to head to Seward for some Resurrection Bay diving on Thursday. There are a couple of pinacles we'd like to check out, but we need to live boat them, so a 4th diver would be great so we can do 2 up, 2 down and take turns for 2 dives each.
Forecast looks good so far...
Apparently so.
Adults on the other hand... :D

Haven't we all been asked this question...
We were called out to this incident yesterday.
The civilians who witnessed the wreck waded into the waist deep water, held the woman's head above the water, hooked a tow strap on the jeep and turned it over (it was upside down). When they did, they saw the car seat. The trooper grabbed the...
These little dudes were bobbing around on the stuff growing on a piece of old line that was hanging from a wreck. Depth of the creatures was between 40 and 70 fsw. They looked like little stick figures with little budda bellies. They would bend "forward" as well as "backward" At first I thought...
Training for the local volunteer team today was a search for a couple of murder weapons - a revolver and a .40cal semi-automatic and a clip.
We had an UW metal detector the Troopers loaned us. The lake is 6-12' deep in the search area. So 2 guys in the boat and me in the water. They would...

This 8 min video is about the area where I grew up. I'm not sure when (or if?) it will be aired, but the producers are hoping it will eventually be on Discovery Channel or one of the national news channels.
We used to be able to hop on the horses, go out the back gate and spend hours or even...
I recently replaced my flooded Pentax Optio S50 with another one. It's nice to know that I can take pictures for a whole dive if I want to without the darn thing locking up at any moment.

Well, Since my flooded Optio S50 is having ever more and more and more failures, I need to bite the bullet and replace it.
UW photography has added a new dimension to my diving that I'm enjoying. Thankfully, even when the stinkin' camera fails, I still enjoy the dives though.
I have pretty...
... uh ... wait...no... that's supposed to be RIDE, not skin :11:
I've been riding horses my whole life... including the part before I was actually born, since my mom rode while she was preggers with me :D Most of that riding has been either the "western" style with the big, comfy saddle and...

There were a couple patches of these egg sacks on the bottom in ~ 90' of water in Puget Sound.
Any idea what creature laid these? Some kind of squid maybe?
